Who We Are

A church family following Jesus Christ.

We believe that the church is not just a building or an organization. The church is a family of people who seek to know God, follow Jesus Christ, and reflect His love in their lives.

Our church is founded on faith in Jesus Christ, God’s Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Trumpet Call is a Slavic, non-denominational Christian church affiliated with The Foursquare Church. Our services are held in Russian. We welcome people from every church background and those exploring faith for the first time.

Our Mission

Our goal is to help people know God, become disciples of Jesus Christ, find freedom and healing for the soul, grow in faith, and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

We strive to be a church where people are accepted, loved, and valued; where you can come as you are, meet God, and begin a new life.

We want to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our families, our community, and the world around us, showing God’s love not only in words but also in our actions.

Our Church

We are a church of worship, prayer, God’s Word, and a living relationship with God.

There is a place here for people of every age, background, and life experience. We believe that God has a plan and a calling for every person.

We do not gather simply to attend services. We gather to meet with God, to grow together, and to become the people He has called us to be.

Our Story

We began as a small Bible group in a home.

Pastor Ruslan started it soon after he came to America in 2001. He wanted to keep serving God and to help people find faith, hope, and a new life in Christ.

Little by little more people came, especially young people. Some of those who joined were struggling with drug addiction and difficult situations in their lives. Pastor Emma came at Pastor Ruslan’s invitation, attended regularly, and was soon actively involved in the ministry. She and Pastor Ruslan were married in 2003.

We came from different backgrounds and church traditions: Russians, Ukrainians, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, Jewish people, and others. Our pastors began to see that God was leading them toward a ministry where people from different backgrounds could come together around Christ.

The pastor of a Lutheran church near the home where we met invited Pastor Ruslan to help with Bible lessons there, and he accepted. Our group began coming together to study the Bible, sing, pray, and serve people.

Our pastors prayed about the future of the ministry and decided to continue their pastoral training. They attended Bible school for two years while still leading the group. In 2003 Trumpet Call Church was officially established, and they received their pastoral licenses to serve in the United States. They were ordained as pastors in 2013.

From the beginning we prayed, studied the Word of God, worshipped, and cared for people. Our pastors bought the first sound equipment and microphones, and they built up the worship team, the women’s ministry, Bible study groups, and the children’s ministry.

What started as a small home group became a church family, committed to serving God and people.
